Is Fallout 76 Good Yet?

You will definitely have to play before deciding but a lot has been fixed, the fan base still playing is still small but at least they are getting some content to play with.

With the new addition of a brand new free update earlier in the month, Wild Appalachia added a lot of quality of life changes, new weapons, armor, missions, but most importantly a brand new cryptid.

In the update as a whole there was quite a few big additions, some of the more notable is a new legendary gear trader, in order to trade any items you have to give a legendary in exchange, this is great for the people who are just sitting on a hold mine of stuff they dont want anymore. Player vending has tinnaly been added meaning players can now set up shops for other players to use, this is great! Finally walking around the barren waste actually has somthing to look for, stumbling upon a full mansion filled with loot to trade or buy, it slightly makes the world feel more full now that people dont just have tiny shacks with a stash in it.

Finally a true survival mode, a fantastic step in the right direction, turns out someone at Bethesda has been listening to the fans, this mode gets rid of all the stupid restrictions of the normal game, no more normalized stats, no shooting people and not being able to do damage unless they shoot back, and of course more loot.

A new quest line has also popped up but not fully fleshed out yet, finding the secrets of Nukashine is fun, talking to a drunk robot with alot of dialog is definitly a bonus, unfortunately he doesn’t have many missions for you, at the same time you can now brew your own Nukashine and other fine alcoholic beverages.

Overall fallout 76 has been out for quite a while and after constant updates, big content drops, and a more focused team on making the game good, it unfortunately is still not great, it’s getting alot better over time but it’s not where it should be, given a couple more months it might be where it should of been on release, for now keep avoiding. For more Fallout news hopefully more cheery then this make sure to stay tuned to Unbiased Gaming.

How To Unlock Every Character In Risk Of Rain 2

Risk of Rain 2 has a total of six characters that you can unlock by completing certain challenges, I will explain how to get each character and how they play.

MUL-T

The MUL-T Character screen

Mission – Beat the first boss 5 times

This is by far the easiest one to do because all you have to do is play the game and beat the first boss 5 times which is extremely easy to do, you will be able to kill the boss most likely every time given you have a few items and dont stand in front of all their attacks. MUL-T is a robot that has two firing modes and the ability to hold 2 ultimate’s, his first weapon is a machine gun esc weapon that fires rapidly and wildly it does a decent amount of damage, the other weapon is a harpoon gun that takes a second to charge up but will one shot most small enemies up to the 3rd realm with no items, he has a concussion grenade that is thrown and stuns all enemies in the area, his last ability is a dash that grants armor and speed which is a great tool for escapes.

Huntress

The Huntress Character screen

Mission – Complete the 3rd teleporter boss fight without dying

To get the Huntress is slightly more difficult then the MUL-T, I recommend doing it with friends to make it a lot easier. This is probably my favorite character she has a great escape where she goes invisible and dashes 10 ft forward, her main weapon is a bow that auto locks and cant miss, this is a great advantage but at the same time, trying to attack one enemy in particular can be annoying if they are surrounded by a few others, her specials are a Glaive that bounces around to different enemy’s doing constant damage, and a rain of arrows that constantly, well rains arrows in a circle that does a bunch of damage.

Engineer

The Engineer Character Screen

Mission – Beat 30 stages

The Engineer is maybe my least favorite classes but again an easy one to get, all you have to do is beat 30 stages/bosses, which will be achieved just by playing the game. The Engineer has 6 chargeable grenades that bounce and do a lot of damage to a very wide area, his two best things are an impregnable shield and a turret, the shield is self explanatory it blocks all damage, but the turret is fantastic because it inherits all of the items that you have, his last ability is a mine that explodes when enemies walk close to it for 300% damage. Engineer is for people who like to have autonomous objects do the work for them while they sit comfortable in a impervious bubble, not a fan.

Artificer

The Artificer Character Screen

Mission – Free the survivor in the gem

The Artificer is a little more difficult then the rest to get, you first need to acquire 11 lunar coins, they drop from enemies but have a very slim chance to, once you get 11 the next step is to find a small blue looking stone(newt shrine) like the one below.

Newt Shrine

Once the shrine is found it will cost 1 lunar coin to open, after the round boss is beaten a blue portal will open, jump through and a new level will load that is a straight path, follow it until in a room with a giant lizard talk to it and pay 10 lunar coins to unlock the artificer .

Mercenary

The Mercenary Character Screen

Mission – Find celestial orb and beat level

The final and hardest character for the moment is the mercenary, not only he the most difficult to play but unlock as well, after beating at least 4 levels eventually a message will appear that says “a celestial orb has been found”, once the message shows up all you have to do is beat the level boss and jump through the giant glowing blue portal just like the artificers. The mercenary is the hardest to play mainly because he is the only melee character at the moment, melee is difficult cause of the many flying mobs in the game that are hard to reach or kill, some bosses cannot be damaged that much if they fly or tunnel.

When Risk of Rain 2 comes out with more characters, loot, or secrets you can find out how to get them right here on Unbiased Gaming.

Tetris 99 Tutorial

Here is an impromptu tutorial of how to play the game.

-The left joycon is used for controlling to location and dropping the tetromino

-The right joycon controls the orientation

-One of the joycons is used to chose an individual target(Not very useful)

-The gray bars on the right(junk) are the blocks other players have sent to you, clear lines to remove them before they get added to your screen

-The junk have a timer. They start turning darker colors, and then blink up until they get added to you screen. The timer gets lower and lower as the game progresses

-Clearing lines gets rid of an equal amount junk as well as pausing the timer controlling the junk

-When you clear multiple lines, you will see a small number appear. That is the amount of lines you sent to a player

-If you are the player that causes a player to die, you get the kill

-Every kill you get grants you half a badge

-Every badge you get clears and sends 25 % more lines, and slows down the rate that the tetrominoes fall(HUGE FOR LATE GAME)

-The other is used to target a category of players, this includes

-Badges : Player with the most badges

-KO : Targets a player who is close to dying

-Attacker : Sends junk back at the people attacking you

-Random : Targets random, don’t recommend this category

-The more people attacking you, the more lines you send to all of them.     This makes defending attacks very rewarding.

-When you kill somebody, you gain their badges

-LEARN HOW TO t-SPIN

-If you want to get in the same game as a friend fairly reliably, press the button to join a game at the same time. I found it works fairly well

Should You Buy The HTC Vive?

The HTC Vive has a new price point of $499, this is a fantastic time to buy. I have always been a big proponent of VR since the first big releases (Vive and Oculus), there is an absolute ton of things you can do with VR from watching videos from an awesome perspective to chopping off peoples faces with a sword in GORN a VR arena game where you fight to the death.

An arena style fighting game made for VR

There are some heavy negatives that come from VR the main one is price getting into a VR headset will cost you a pretty penny even with the new price drop, the Vive is the better of the two options ( Vive and Oculus) which allows you to have full room tracking allowing for moving around your room and standing up to interact with the game your playing. the second biggest issue with VR that does not affect some users is motion sickness but for those that it does affect can be drastic for me personally I cannot play racing or flying games as well as riding roller coasters but other then that normal games that are just walking around or fighting are perfectly fine and I can play for hours. VR is defiantly something I recommend everyone try but i would not necessarily tell someone to buy it mainly because its expensive and if someone cant play any games with out getting extremely sick they would just be throwing away money and in this market everyone only wants the best and not waste it on a second rate headset. Overall i say wait to see what the new Index from Valve will be.
